Facts: Dynamic proxy classes are generated by the Java runtime, from a list of interfaces given by the user. The generated proxy class implements all interfaces given by the user. The dynamic proxy class is not synthetic . The dynamic proxy class is useless without a user supplied InvocationHandler class, since there's only one constructor for the proxy class and it takes a InvocationHandler as parameter. Example code: import java.lang.reflect.Constructor; import ja... Output: Class: $Proxy0 isSynthetic: false Constructo...

Java built-in X.509 certificate factory reads CertPath objects encoded in PkiPath or PKCS7 formats. The META-INF/<key_alias>.RSA file generated by Java jarsigner is in PKCS7 format. Example code: import java.util.*; import java.io.*; import... PKCS7 files can also be generated by openssl from certificate file(s): openssl crl2pkcs7 -nocrl -certfile Certs.pem -out ... Convert PKCS7 from DER to PEM: openssl pkcs7 -in certs.pk7 -inform DER -out certs... Sample PKCS7 file: -----BEGIN PKCS7----- MIIERwYJKoZIhvcNAQcCoIIEO...

For XML resources, Android returns an XmlPullParser reference. I tried the RSSReader example from xmlpull.org , it failed both on the Android emulator and with xpp3-1.1.4c . This is an example for XmlPullParser usage. Since the XmlPullParser is event based, a callback mechanism works better. Java code: import java.io.*; import java.net.*; import ... The XML file used: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <catalog...
