Both delegate and live allow you to bind event handlers to elements created in the future, but there are some differences: For .delegate , the event bubbles up to the element on which it is called. For .live , the event bubbles up to the root of the DOM tree, or, as of jQuery 1.4, optionally stop at a DOM element context. DOM traversal methods are not supported for finding elements to send to .live() . Rather, the .live() method should always be called directly after a selector. The opposite of .live is .die . The opposite of .delegate is .undelegate . Note: As of jQuery 1.7, the .live() method is deprecated . Use .on() to attach event handlers. Users of older versions of jQuery...

There is no XSLT 2.0 support in the JDK as of 7.0. According to Stackoverflow , there are three Java packages that support XSLT 2.0: Saxon IBM WebSphere XML Feature Pack Oracle XDK There are no known support for XSLT in browsers. According to Wikipedia : XSLT is developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). The most recent version is XSLT 2.0, which reached W3C recommendation status on 23 January 2007. As of 2010, however, XSLT 1.0 is still widely used, as there are no products that support XSLT 2.0 running in the browser, nor on some important server environments such as LAMP. Expressions like this:
format-date(xs:date('1999-12-31'), '[D01] [MNn] ... where format-date is a XSLT 2.0 function and date is a XPath 2.0 constructor...

Experts may disagree but I found it absolutely stunning that JSF EL does not provide an operator for string concatenation. The Java "+" operator is there for the take. Java, which is a strongly typed compiled language, overloads the "+" operator in such a way that any object can be concatenated with a string. But JSF EL, which definitely isn't as strongly typed as Java, restricts the "+" operator to numerical values only! Of course, experts may argue that the "+" operator overloading is a huge design flaw of the Java language. But even so, JSF EL is not the right place to fix it! In some cases, a concatenation operator isn't needed, for example:
<ui:repeat var="tab" value="#{tabs}"> <img ... But in case the concatenated...

The events mouseover and mouseout are fired when the mouse enters/leaves the element where the event handlers are registered, and any nested elements which do not handle these events (because of event bubbling ). The events mouseenter and mouseleave are fired only when the mouse enters/leaves the specified element. Nested elements do not come into play. This following is a test page. You need Firebug to view the console output. Or use the JavaScript Executor bookmarklet. If none of these are available, an alert will popup (but you won't be able to fully test with alert.).
<!DOCTYPE HTML> <html> <head> <title>jQu... For the above test page, when you move the mouse through both the outer and inner areas of the mouseover/mouseout rectangle, the output is...

Copied verbatim from The GNU C Library Manual . When you have finished using a socket, you can simply close its file descriptor with close ; see Opening and Closing Files . If there is still data waiting to be transmitted over the connection, normally close tries to complete this transmission. You can control this behavior using the SO_LINGER socket option to specify a timeout period; see Socket Options . You can also shut down only reception or transmission on a connection by calling shutdown , which is declared in sys/socket.h . Function: int shutdown (int socket, int how) The shutdown function shuts down the connection of socket socket. The argument how specifies what action to perform: 0 - Stop receiving data for this socket....

Summarized from The C Book : There are essentially two types of object in C: the internal and external objects. Anything declared outside a function is external; anything inside one, including its formal parameters, is internal. Since no function can be defined inside another, functions are always external. All function declarations implicitly have the extern keyword stuck in front of them, whether or not you put it there. These two declaearions are equivalent:
void some_function(void); extern void some_func... The term linkage is used to describe the accessibility of objects from one file to another. There are three types of linkage: external , internal , and no linkage . Type of linkage Type of object Accessibility external external Across files, througout the program internal external Within...

These error level constants are defined in PHP : Constant Value Description E_ERROR 1 Fatal run-time errors. Execution of the script is halted. E_WARNING 2 (1<<1) Run-time warnings (non-fatal errors). Execution of the script is not halted. E_PARSE 4 (1<<2) Compile-time parse errors. Parse errors should only be generated by the parser. E_NOTICE 8 (1<<3) Notices. Indicate that the script encountered something that could indicate an error, but could also happen in the normal course of running a script. E_CORE_ERROR 16 (1<<4) Fatal errors that occur during PHP's initial startup. This is like an E_ERROR, except it is generated by the core of PHP. E_CORE_WARNING 32 (1<<5) Warnings (non-fatal errors) that occur during PHP's initial startup. This is like an E_WARNING, except it is generated...

A PHP try catch block looks like this:
<?php
try {
throw new MyException('foo!'...
Normally, no exceptions are thrown from internal function errors. For example:
<?php
$a = 1;
$b = 0;
try {
$v = $...
The division by zero error is never caught as an exception.
However , you can translate errors into exceptions with an error handler and ErrorException :
<?php
function exception_error_handler($errno, ...
which prints:
Exception: exception 'ErrorException' with message...
PHP does not support finally clause.
